Following rave reviews and sold-out runs at Chichester Festival Theatre and the Royal Court Theatre, ENRON transferred into the West End in January 2010. Due to its continued success at the Noel Coward Theatre the production has been recast and will play in the West End until 14^th August 2010, before embarking on a UK tour.

One of the most infamous scandals in financial history becomes a unique theatrical event in ‘Rupert Goold’s brilliant production’ (Guardian). Inspired by real-life, and using music, movement and video, ENRON follows a group of flawed men and women in a narrative of greed and loss, reviewing the tumultuous 1990s and casting a new light on the financial turmoil in which the world finds itself today.

This record breaking production is directed by Headlong Theatre’s Artistic Director Rupert Goold (winner of the 2010 Best Director Olivier Award for ENRON). Recent credits for the company include Six Characters in Search of an Author, which transferred to the West End in 2008, and King Lear starring Pete Postlethwaite. Goold’s other credits include the multi award-winning Macbeth with Patrick Stewart (West End/Broadway), No Man’s Land (West End) and Oliver! (West End).

ENRON is a co-production with Chichester Festival Theatre and the Royal Court. It is presented in the West End by Matthew Byam Shaw, Act Productions, Caro Newling for Neal St Productions, Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel.
